Officials at the Chinook Es Edge School Division say she and the Alberta Teachers` Association have reached a preliminary agreement on a new collective agreement. 1.4 The Commission reserves management rights that are not expressly limited by this agreement. 1.6 „flat payment“ refers to a one-time payment corresponding to other one-time payments sometimes referred to as signing bonuses. The „flat payment“ does not explicitly include the continuation or extension of the lump sum payments currently provided for in the settlement agreements between employers and unions, which are listed in point 1.1 of this letter. 1.1 „transaction agreement,“ the provincial collective agreements listed below for the period beginning April 1, 2017: 15.9 representatives of TEBA and the association meet within 15 days of operation to discuss the difference, or at a later date that will be consensual for both parties. By mutual agreement between TEBA and the association, representatives of the people concerned may be invited to participate in the discussion on difference. 2.5.2 If a strike or lockout begins during the central negotiations, the continuation of the collective agreement is suspended until an agreement on essential conditions is ratified in accordance with Section 11(4) PECBA or the central conditions are otherwise settled. 2.6.1 In centralized table negotiations, representatives of the association and TEBA meet no later than 30 days after the announcement of collective bargaining. At the first meeting, the association and TEBA will exchange details of all requested changes. In a school where nine or more teachers, including the head of school, are taught, the Committee appoints one (1) teacher as assistant principal, unless an alternative administrative designation is considered more practical after consultation and agreement between the board of directors and the principal and staff of the school concerned. 2.2.1 Negotiations on the list of central and local affairs must begin no later than 6 months and no more than 8 months before the expiry of the collective agreement in force at the time and be initiated by a written communication from the Federation or teBA to the other.

4.1.1 The Board of Directors may create or fill administrative positions other than those expressly mentioned in paragraph 4.2.3, provided that additional compensation is negotiated with the Joint Committee 17 bargaining committee prior to the publicity and appeal of that position. In the absence of an agreement after ten (ten) days from the date of notification to the Committee, the Board may fill the position provided that the amount of compensation is on the negotiating table at the next round of wage negotiations.
